The Bellingham High School auditorium was full on Tuesday night when governmental agencies held a public meeting to explain how the environmental review process for the Gateway Pacific Terminal will proceed.

Coal trains pass through Bellingham several times a day on their way to Canada. If the Gateway Pacific Terminal is approved up to 9 trains per day (18 trips) could travel the I-5 corridor through Bellingham.
